Philips DreamStation Go Heated Humidifier
The optional DreamStation Go Heated Humidifier helps reduce dry and painful sinuses by adding moisture to therapy air, keeping the mouth, throat, and sinuses from drying out during the night.
Using a heated humidifier to add moisture to the air you breathe is the 'norm' when using CPAP therapy at home, but when travelling, not so much. Why? Because humidifiers usually need distilled water and are typically large, heavy and inconvenient to travel with. This is not the case with the DreamStation Go!
It is OK to use bottled water, or even tap water* without voiding your manufacturers warranty.
This reduces the inconvenience of travelling with heavy, bulky containers or searching for distilled water when you arrive. Now you can travel light and still enjoy the same comfort of heated humidification that you experience at home.
* In very hard water areas, it is recommended that you use distilled or bottled water.
The heated humidifier is also extremely lightweight, weighing just 340gms (including water tank) when empty.
