What size CPAP Mask do I need?

Every CPAP user is unique, not only because of the size and shape of facial features but also for the degree of tolerance to CPAP therapy and comfort levels.

Finding the correct size of CPAP Mask can be difficult, especially as the masks are sealed for hygiene purposes.

There is often a number of different sizes for each mask type, so it can be difficult to know which one is best for you.

IMPORTANT NOTES

· For the best results, we recommend a personal fitting.

· We understand that this is not always possible, so we have provided this information to assist.

· For online purchases and phone orders, we cannot accept responsibility if the mask does not fit.

· For hygiene reasons, once the sealed mask packet has been opened we cannot exchange it.

· By purchasing online using this information, you accept the limitations described above.

  • Small Size = 8~9cm
  • Medium Size = 9~10cm
  • Large Size = 10~11.5cm

BMC Nasal Pillow Mask Sizing

The BMC P2 Nasal Pillow Mask is very versatile because the mask we provide includes three different sized pillows all in one packaging. The nasal pillow mask comes with medium-sized pillows fitted, but also includes small and large size pillows in the same packaging. Nice!

In summary, the Nasal Pillow Mask is the most versatile, and it would be almost impossible to get the wrong size.

This is the type of mask that I use and recommend, but you may need a chin strap if you are a 'mouth breather'

If you are looking to purchase a Nasal or Full Face mask online, it would be best to buy based on previous experiences, such as choosing the mask you used during your CPAP trial. You could also get your size checked at your local CPAP shop and buy from them or use the measurement technique shown above if purchasing online.

CPAP Mask Fit Packs

Whilst a personal CPAP mask fitting is still highly recommended, this is not always possible, convenient or practical.

During these difficult times, travel restrictions and personal safety risks are real concerns for our patients, who are now preferring to shop online. However, we do understand that selecting the wrong sized CPAP Mask can be a costly and frustrating mistake.

For these reasons, we have expanded our range of CPAP Masks and made it easier for you to identify 'what is a fit pack mask' by grouping together those masks on a separate page of our website and identified by this logo;

All masks on our 'Fit Pack Masks' page include all available cushion/seal sizes.
